AC Explorer Pro Copyright (C) 1995-2001 Zugg Software All Rights Reserved THIS FILE CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT AC EXPLORER COPY PROTECTION METHODS. PLEASE READ IT! LICENSE AGREEMENT This dialog will only be displayed the first time you use AC Explorer. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before using this software. By clicking the Accept button below you indicate your acceptance of this license agreement and warranty. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico and the United States of America. REGISTERED VERSION AC Explorer is licensed to a single user. You may install AC Explorer on up to 3 different computer systems. To use AC Explorer on more than 3 computers, you must purchase additional licenses. Each additional license adds one more computer to your allowed number of copies. Each of the 3 licenses is set to auto-expire and auto-renew in 90-days. This means after using AC Explorer for 90 days, your license will expire, and you will be prompted to click the Get License button to automatically renew the license. Licenses can be renewed every 90 days indefinitely. Licenses are set to expire after 90 days so that any licenses lost due to hard disk problems or Windows problems can be automatically recovered and reused by you on the same or another computer. You can move a license from one machine to another. To move a license, Unlicense AC Explorer as described below. Then use your Order ID to install a copy of AC Explorer on another computer. Your AC Explorer licenses are tied to the specific computer AC Explorer was installed on. If you copy AC Explorer to a different computer, AC Explorer will revert to Trial mode. Before reinstalling Windows or reformatting your hard disk, you should Unlicense AC Explorer to prevent your license from being lost. Zugg Software cannot restore licenses that are lost as a result of this. Lost licenses are automatically recovered after the 90-day expiration period and can be reused after that. To Unlicense AC Explorer, right-click on the ACXPLORER.EXE icon and select Unlicense from the eLicense options, or open the eLicense Control Panel, select Zugg Software, then right-click on AC Explorer. Or, select the “Unlicense AC Explorer” option in your Start/Programs/AC Explorer menu. RETURN POLICY AC Explorer may be returned for a full refund within 30-days of it's purchase. To return AC Explorer, right- click on the ACXPLORER.EXE file and select Return Product from the eLicense options. This will disable your license for AC Explorer and will refund your credit card. Only orders purchased using the Purchase button within the AC Explorer program can be returned in this way. If you purchased AC Explorer using any other method, Unlicense AC Explorer from your system, as described above, then email your Order ID or Registration Code to refunds@zuggsoft.com for details on getting a refund. Once you have used AC Explorer for 30 days since purchasing, you cannot get a refund. COPY PROTECTION AC Explorer uses the eLicense technology from ViaTech for its copy protection. The eLicense technology controls the 30-day trial period for AC Explorer, as well as the purchased license. eLicense uses sophisticated encryption and digital signature algorithms to protect the AC Explorer license. Attempts to modify the AC Explorer software, use an invalid registration code, or attempts to circumvent the copy protection can cause AC Explorer to stop functioning. In addition, such illegal activities may prevent the user from using AC Explorer or any future Zugg Software products in the future. Tampering with the eLicense software can cause any other software on your system that uses eLicense to stop functioning. SHAREWARE VERSION EVALUATION AND REGISTRATION This is not free software. You are hereby licensed to use this software for evaluation purposes for 30 days. After running this program for 30 days it will expire and stop functioning. Removing and reinstalling the software will NOT reset this trial period. Also, once the trial period has expired, installing a newer version of AC Explorer will NOT reset the trial. BETA versions of AC Explorer also have an expiration date, after which they will stop functioning. Alteration or patching of AC Explorer in order to bypass the 30-day limit is a violation of U.S. and international copyright laws. Attempts to circumvent AC Explorer copy protection methods may cause you to lose your full 30-day evaluations. There is no way to restore evaluations that expire. DISTRIBUTION The Shareware (Trial) version of AC Explorer may be freely distributed. You must include all files included in the distribution package. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting donations, for any such copies, however made, and from distributing the software and/or documentation with other products without prior written permission of the AC Explorer author.
