Clicking on the Test Pattern tab in the Package Editor will open the Trigger Testing panel. This panel allows you to test your trigger pattern and see what text it matches.

You can enter sample text from the MUD and click the "Test Trigger" button to determine if the text matches the trigger pattern. You can also click the drop-down arrow at the right side of the Sample Text field to select one of the past 30 lines sent from the MUD.

When you click "Test Trigger", it will tell you if the trigger matches your pattern, and if it matches, the values of your named patterns or %1..%99 subpatterns will be shown in the list.
