Based upon the calendar pages of Les Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry. May and January calendars are for the recipients' birth months. The miniature in the scroll on the left for Master Alwyn is a picture of couples dancing from 14th century France. The miniatures in the scroll on the right for Mistress Tatiana are from The Medieval Woman and show a woman scribe and women making pasta.
Hand
Gothic, taken directly from the original manuscript.
